The Intimus 90cc3 Cross Cut Paper Shredder is a high quality, performance packed shredder built specially for offices for high performance. The Intimus 90cc3 Cross Cut Paper Shredder is multifunctional, shredding paper, staples, paper clips, CDs/DVDs, credit cards and floppy disks. The Intimus 2x2 cut and collect system utilizes separate cutting units and collection bins for paper and plastic materials, enabling easy disposal or recycling. Silentec® design reduces vibrations generated during shredding, making this one of the most silent shredders on the market. The EcoLogic energy management system puts the shredder into "sleep mode" during idle time, reducing its power consumption to zero; touch the i-control® center button to restore operational status. The i-control® operating system controls shredder functions and provides a visual information center for an at-a-glance update of the shredder's status. The Intimus 90cc3's dynamic load sensor prevents jams and trains the user to learn proper shredding loads, maximizing shredding time, using a color changing light strip in the paper feed area.

Tina This shredder was purchases to replace an existing office shredder. It is always hard when the time comes to make a new purchase, but it is a little easier with some research. I came across the Intimus 90cc3, and my decision was made quickly. The shredder had quite a few features that impressed me, including: • Dustproof enclosed basket • Multi-functional ability (destroys staples, paper, CDs, DVDs, credit cards, floppy disks, and paper clips) • Shock resistant material • Mounted on rollers • Flexible uses • Separate cutting area for paper and digital media • Integrated auto reverse function (paper jam removal) The machine is extremely easy to use. I did not have the frustration of figuring out how to use a complex control panel. One dial controls the machine’s entire operation. The control panel also indicates when the machine has a problem. I must say that I love the separate section for paper and media. There is a separate section for the debris. This is a great way to make the machine environmentally friendly for easy disposal of the material. The shredder is extremely quiet, too. It offers the Silentec feature only available of Intimus products. Silentec is a new design that offers maximum absorption of variation during the shredding process. I have less noise in my office. I love this since my office is already noise enough without any additions. I have not had a problem with my machine yet. I do think that this is a strong and versatile machine that is a wonderful addition to my office.
